Jochem Zwienenberg from Victa posted a video of an example dashboard he made on Linkedin which shows you how you can use the new Lay-out container in Qlik Sense.

Some commenters wondered how he made the pop-up menu in this example dashboard. It’s not that complicated if you take a couple of minutes to think about it.

• This example requires a single Lay-out container to cover the entire work sheet;
• Two Text areas. One for the “white transparent overlay” and one for the menu itself;
• Two buttons. One for opening the menu and one for closing the menu;
• And only one variable to link it all together.
